About us
The local team behind Washington's last roof.
Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. is the official and exclusive certified installer of the Interlock® Lifetime Roofing System in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. We work from three Washington offices — Seattle, Bellingham and Stanwood — and Pacific Northwest homeowners have trusted us since 1997 to deliver lifetime aluminum roofs built for Puget Sound rain and moss, Salish Sea salt air, Cascade snow load, and wildfire-interface country east of the crest.

One product, one promise
We install one thing — and that focus is the point.
The Interlock® Lifetime Roofing System: interlocked aluminum panels manufactured in North America by Interlock Roofing Ltd. We are not a general roofing company that also offers metal — we're Washington's authorized Interlock installer, and this system is all we do.
Washington asks four different things of a roof at once. Puget Sound rain runs eight months a year and feeds the moss that pries shingles apart. Salt air off the Salish Sea and the Strait of Juan de Fuca eats the cut edges of steel. The Cascade foothills — North Bend, Enumclaw, Buckley — load a roof with real snow. East of the crest and along the wildland interface, a non-combustible roof is the sensible default. Aluminum cannot rust, the four-way mechanical interlock leaves no exposed fasteners, and a Class A fire rating is available on the assembly — with the Guardian Warranty behind it, lifetime coverage that transfers once when you sell.

Our story
From one crew in 1997 to 3,223 Washington roofs
1997
Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. begins installing the Interlock® Lifetime Roofing System for Pacific Northwest homeowners — one product, installed to manufacturer specification, from the start.
One system
Every roof we install is manufactured by Interlock Roofing Ltd. — 3105-H24/3003-H24 aluminum, ~95% recycled content, AAMA 2605-certified Alunar® coating, locked on all four edges.
Three offices
Seattle covers King, Pierce and Kitsap counties; Bellingham covers Whatcom and Skagit; Stanwood covers Snohomish and Island. One Washington contractor license — #INTERMR75406 — covers every roof we install in this state.
Today
3,223 completed Washington installs, 3,092 of them pinned on the live project map, 775 approved homeowner reviews and 215 project photos. Seattle alone accounts for 394 roofs since 1998 — and every roof we have installed sits under the Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty.
Credentials
Licensed, certified, and accountable — in writing
Every claim on this page is checkable against a public record or a standards body.
Licensed in Washington
Washington contractor license #INTERMR75406 — verifiable through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries contractor lookup. Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. is separately licensed for its work in Oregon; the Washington license is the one that covers every roof we install here.
Certified product, tested numbers
ICC-ES ESR-1790 listed (wind uplift tested to 177.5 psf), UL 2218 Class 4 impact rated, verified via Intertek, (highest), Class A fire rating available, AAMA 2605-certified Alunar® coating, ~95% recycled aluminum.
Memberships and a countable record
Metal Roofing Alliance member. GuildQuality member. CRRC-rated Alunar® colors. We publish no state-wide star average — Washington runs three separate Google profiles — so the record we stand on is the one you can count: 3,223 completed installs, 775 approved reviews, 215 project photos.
A warranty that transfers
Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty — lifetime coverage for the original homeowner, transferable once (the second owner is covered to 50 years from substantial completion; transfer registered within 60 days, $300 fee). Alunar® coating warranted 30 years. Warranted wind resistance: 120 mph (193 km/h) installed to manufacturer specification; hail coverage to 1.5-inch stones.
Local offices
Three Washington offices. One local crew per county.
Seattle (5608 17th Ave NW, Suite 1574, Seattle, WA 98107-5232) runs King, Pierce and Kitsap. Bellingham runs Whatcom and Skagit. Stanwood runs Snohomish and Island. Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM — three offices means shorter drives and estimators who know their own corner of the state.
